Website Information Form
What’s needed to begin…
The 8 steps below will give us just about everything we need to get started. We suggest watching this video first for some further details and to know what to do.
1. Fill out the form below first and submit .
2. Get a domain name for your new website, that is if you don’t already have one. Try to get a name with your service type and geographical location in the name and keep as short as possible. (for example: daytonsalonandspa.com) Get Your Domain Names HERE using GoDaddy.com!
3. Make a list of all the services you offer and provide some detail about each if you can.
4. Send a photo of yourself to be placed in the head section of the website. Shoulders-up view only. Try to get a picture with a plain background, like in front of a wall.
5. Collect photos of your business interior, exterior, and associates (if desired) and send them all at once HERE . Include a short bio of each associate and identify their pictures please.
6. PC&C Members only: record your Consumer Awareness Message Recording by Calling 800-604-4006. When prompted enter member Id# 8132781. When completed, notify the office immediately at: WebSupport@PerfectColorAndCut.com
7. PC&C Members only: Send your hard copy of your Consumer Awareness Message Guide (in Microsoft Word or Works format please). Email it to WebSupport@PerfectColorAndCut.com or upload it with your other files and photos.
8. PC&C Members only: Send a list of your current clients, including name, address, phone, and email address (MS Excel files please). Email it to WebSupport@PerfectColorAndCut.com or upload it with your other files and photos.
HOW TO SEND PHOTOS AND FILES FOR YOUR WEBSITE:
NOTES ABOUT YOUR WEBSITE & CONTENT:
- Your website will already include but is not limited to the following:
- An interactive Google map for location info and driving directions
- A contact page for requesting appointments
- An ‘about us’ page
- A blog to create articles, and admin access to update your own content
- The ability to upload photos, videos, and other media to place into your website or blog.
- You will have the ability to have video or audio streaming from your website pages or blog posts
- Full Search Engine Optimization (SEO) will be customized to fit your location and key terms. Your website will also conform to XHTML code validation standards, be secure, and have full upgrade capabilities as time progresses and/or changes are needed.
- Easily upgradeable to having eCommerce and forum abilities.

Content Management and WordPress Blogging Features:
Your website will have content management capabilities. This allows you to login to the admin panel (known as the “back end”), open site pages and update/change the content, create blog posts and approve comments to them, and create categories to organize and archive your blog posts. Changing your site’s content will be as simple as using a WYSIWYG editor (like using WORD or your email editor) to make your changes.
Webmaster Consultations and Support:
The webmaster has provided you with 2 hours per month of consultation time for learning how to use the admin panel features and for performing general website requests. Due to the number of websites being developed at the same time, you may be required to schedule an appointed time for your consultation when demand is high.
Email:
Your email addresses will have your domain name assigned to it and you may have up to 10 email addresses. For example: if your domain name is www.mydomain.com, then your email address will end with @mydomain.com. You may pick any name you wish to place in front of it. — again up to 10 of them. If you require more than 10, contact John Kelly. Your email boxes will have up to 250MB of storage.
NOTE: A webmaster@(yourdomainname).com email address will automatically be setup for your website.
Making Changes to the Look and Feel of Your Website
If you desire a changes to the look and feel of your website (such as color changes, positioning of page elements, header/logo positioning and size changes, etc.) or if you want more functionality added to it such as a custom image gallery, a forum, ecommerce features to sell products online, a guestbook, special forms to collect information, an online job application, or any other ideas you may have, contact John Kelly directly for an estimate and timeframe to add it onto your website.
