The Way We Use Information
6x6 Design collects information you provide about yourself when contacting us via telephone, email, or our online contact form. We do not share or sell this information with any outside parties, only in an extent necessary to deliver our services to you under a signed service agreement.
We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared or sold to outside parties.
We use only non-identifying information to better design our web site. We do not disclose any information that could be used to identify any individual.
You can register for our web site newsletter if you would like to receive updates on our new products and services.
Online Payment Form
Our payment page is linked to a secured payment gateway with Authorize.Net merchant services using SIM (Server Integration Method). With this method, 6x6 Design will never actually see your credit card account number and security code, except for the last four digits and transaction details. Unlike most advanced integration methods, SIM does not require 6x6 Design to collect, transmit or store sensitive card holder information to process transactions. SIM is a hosted payment processing solution that handles all the steps in processing a transaction, including:
- Collection of customer payment information through a secure, hosted form
- Generation of a receipt to the customer
- Secure transmission to the payment processing networks for settlement
- Funding of proceeds to the merchant's bank account
- Secure storage of card holder information
How it works: Once the initial client information is collected and submitted on our web site, the client is then directed to our secure payment form page on the Authorize.Net secure server to complete the transaction. The security of a SIM transaction is assured through the use of a unique digital signature or fingerprint that is sent with each transaction. This fingerprint is used by Authorize.Net to authenticate both 6x6 Design and the transaction. Additionally, SIM does not require 6x6 Design to install a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) digital certificate. This removes the complexity of securely handling and storing card holder information, simplifying compliance with the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard.
Tell-A-Friend
If a user elects to use our referral service for informing a friend about our site, we ask them for the friends name and email address. 6x6 Design will automatically send the friend a one-time email inviting them to visit the site. 6x6 Design stores this information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time email.
